Thurs Nov 28th (Chemistry Demonstration wrap up)

Day Plan:
  1. Finish Project Reflection Survey on Chemistry Demonstrations (if you didn't do submit it yesterday)
  2. Self-Assess and Hand in 3.1 Reading and Practice using this key
  3. Final Revisions to Chemistry Demonstration Project. By way of general feedback for everyone, make sure you researched the specific chemical formula for your compound and can explain the elements that are involved in the reaction. You may also be observing new compounds being created or destroyed. See if you can research enough to find out what those are. I made some comments on the outline with suggested resources.
    1. Make sure you've included each learning goal in your inquiry questions as written a statement in the document self assessing that goal. Make sure you give a mark and an explanation for each goal
    2. Use Steve's feedback comments in your doc as a guide to revise you Chemistry Demonstration Inquiry
    3. Have a peer read your work and use their feedback as a guide to revise inquiry questions
  4. Final Revisions to Mitosis Projects if you haven't finished yet and make both the image file and the YouTube video are handed in (please upload the image to your NLC folder on drive and share the link, please share the link to your YouTube video).
  5. Check out The Hour Of Code and let me know if you are interested. You could even dig into some of their sessions and see if you think there's one in particular that you'd enjoy.
  6. Begin crafting your next question for your next Genius Hour Project
