Tue Nov 26th (Stories of Exploration)

How can we create fictional exploration stories that are appealing to a younger audience and that are based on real stories of exploration?

Day plan:

  1. Feedback on Chemistry Demonstration Project (15 min)
  2. Personal Stories of Exploration (10 min)
    1. First, take a few minutes to think about a personal story of exploration.
    2. If you are interested, please share
  3. Exploration Brainstorm: Read over the prompts in this document and add your ideas to each one. (20 min)
  4. Check out the outline and see if you can come up with any specific questions for David on the exhibits and artefacts we will be seeing. (5 min)
  5. Begin searching for your own resources and for exploration missions that interest you personally. Once we form teams for the project you will be able to bring your ideas to our team and narrow it down. I'd recommend starting with the pinboard of resources here. Please comment on the resources section of the outline with any other resources you'd like to see added to list.
